I didn't watch The Grammy's but I was on Twitter after they finished up and all I can say is people are fucking retarded! This is a tweet from a girl I follow:

"i hate this. i hate see @ladygaga and @justinbieber upset. i wanna go crawl in a hole and die right now"


I happen to think that is possibly the most pathetic thing I have ever read! Can we force the sterilisation of these people? I honestly don't believe that these people should be allowed breed, it damages the human race! All I keep seeing on Twitter and Facebook is about Gaga or Bieber not winning some award and people are crying, and these people are 21+, that's crazy. Whatever about a 13 year old girl crying, kids will be kids, but an adult?? That is the definition of pathetic.


As I have said before I am a Gaga fan but these "little monsters" need to grow up! Arcade Fire won, get over it and to the people saying 'Who are they? Mother Monster should have won', since you have no idea who they are you have no frame of reference to pass judgement on who should have won. 


Now get your mind out of the proverbial gutter and move on.

Let me start off by saying I do like Lady Gaga, she's a great artist and a great act live. I'm not gonna lie and say she's the greatest artist I've seen live! She's in the Top Ten!

So I was awake Friday morning around 8:30 and saw on my Facebook news feed that some radio station was playing Lady Gaga's new song 'Born This Way' at around 9am so I clicked on the link and said sure I'd give it a listen.

To be honest I hate the song, the lyrics are good but the song is terrible. I was expecting a ballad or something and it's an over-hyped piece of euro-pop, I mean I wanted to stab myself in the ears! The start of the song reminds me of David Guetta - When Love Takes Over and people are saying it sounds like Madonna - Express Yourself, I think it's something they'd have played in Guantanamo Bay.

Captain America: The First Avenger

I endured what felt like hours of the Superbowl just to watch this trailer and it was worth it. I was excited to see the Transformers 3 trailer and Thor trailer, in my opinion Captain America just blew them out of the water! It looks      A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The Chronicle: News From The Edge

Special Unit 2

It pisses me off just as you really get into a show it gets cancelled! Special Unit 2 only ran for 19 episodes and  it was a great sci-fi/comedy about a secret Chicago police division known as Special Unit 2 who hunted monsters which are referred to as "Links". The Chronicle: News From The Edge another sci-fi/comedy ran for 22 episodes, it is about a group of investigative reporters working in a tabloid paper covering stories on monsters, aliens etc which all turn out to be real. 

Two great shows cancelled and they didn't even give us a DVD boxset, the one on ioffer is just recordings of them off the tv, no special features, I'd suggest you save your money and find a good torrent, it's the same thing without the price tag. 

We get 1 season of Firefly but we get 10 seasons of Friends, how many times can Ross and Rachel break up and make up!!! The Simpsons should have been cancelled YEARS ago, it's not funny, Family Guy and South Park have taken over. ER did we really need 15 seasons?? And really, how many more trashy reality tv shows are they going to air??

   

Pathetic??

I have literally spent since 10am Friday morning (it is now 7:30 am Saturday) watching 19 episodes of The Big Bang Theory ( Thurs nights latest episode, the last 6 episodes of season 1 and first 12 of season 2). I've also been watching a couple of episodes of Stargate SG-1 Season 3 and just starting on a few episodes of Farscape Season 1... I've seen them all before I just like to re-watch my DVDs a lot! Also got very excited yesterday when I saw that starting Tuesday when the re runs of Special Unit 2 are over The Horror Channel are re running Firefly.

I think my life is being over run by Sci-Fi and Geekery.......

   

The Nerd Machine

So that's me, The Nerd Machine is probably one of my favorite websites as I've mentioned before. I only have 3 items at the moment, the 2 t-shirts shown and the hoody. I plan on buying more.

Not only is The Nerd Machine a place where you can buy kick ass clothes you can just talk to people in the forums, discuss all sorts of crap even though I wish there was more John Cusack fans there. It's run by Zachary Levi or as you may know him as Chuck Bartowski in Chuck and David Coleman the prop master on Chuck. They have womens, mens and kids apparel along with some funky hats. If I'd money I'd be buying everything... Trust me.

I have what I'd say is a broad taste in music, when I was a kid I was mainly into cheesy pop bands such as 5ive, The Spice Girls, Blue etc but I always listened to my parents music as well Guns'N'Roses, Rage Against The Machine, Suicidal Tendencies and so forth.

When I was about 13 my then best friend introduced me to Slipknot, my music then progressed into Pantera, Slayer and Sepultura. I still though liked pop music but kept it a secret till the age of around 17. I also really liked bands such as Blink 182, Green Day, Sum 41 but kept it quiet because as I was told "If you listen to heavy metal you can't like that baby crap too". Kids eh?

In the years that have passed and I have broken free from these people I'm not afraid to be who I am, I'm not gonna hide it from anyone if I wanna go and see Lady Gaga, Semi Precious Weapons, 3OH!3, Buckcherry etc. Just because I listen to Lady Gaga doesn't mean I still don't have an appreciation for bands like Lamb of God etc.

People need to get over this barrier that is stopping them from expressing who they really are, music frees you whatever genre it is and who cares if your friends don't appreciate your taste in music, it's your taste not theirs.
